Briefing
The descent from the eastern mountain range brought us straight to the main road leading to Sarendil's fortress. For many years, no one has been able to capture it or even approach it; the fortress is protected by a water-filled moat, and its armaments and garrison are sufficient for a staunch defense against multiple armies. Recently, our scouts discovered that barbarians have begun to appear from the northern slopes, who are also watching the area. It is likely that if we advance united with them, then Sarendil will find himself alongside his friend Firrendil.
