Unfortunately, the promised townhall was almost empty - it seems it was discovered by Tarian's groups, who emptied it... After the years you spent on the great plains, now Tarian knows he can't chase you anymore, and he is happy he could take hands on that secret gold. He moved his forces back to a castle close to the mid-west crossroads. The roads are important to control the region, as they're on the way to the capital of west.
